I got out of the driver's seat, went around back and the engine was shaking really bad and I knew something was wrong/broken so I shut it down. I then decided, with the transmission in neutral (so the engine was turning over the REWACO/VW clutch assembly) to slowly run the engine up to 3000 rpm. 1974 VW T2: Devon Eurovette camper with 1641 DP T1 engine, Progressive carb, full flow oil cooler. Engine 1: 40k miles (rocker shaft clip fell off), Engine 2: 30k miles (rebuild, dropped valve). Location: Chico, CA. The revolution motor would be cool to use with its porsche pedigree but the twin cam b motor is the one to use because of its counterweighted crank design which reduces all the vibration.
