Yet, this is exactly what's emotional about this manga. Just as irritating is remembering that they were killed before they could pass their information on to the next generation, but the manner was so messy and illogical (after all, they had enough time to live for this), that it seems silly to think how many problems would have been solved. The way I see it there are two types of stories, personal stories (like A Silent Voice, March Comes In Like A Lion or Your Name) and larger-scale epics (like Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga or Kingdom).
