Did billy mays die and take him with him? On the side i did yesterday it was all the oposite. Unfortunately the sham wow guy didn't.... I think i got the term castle from the description on pelican when i ordered. Are axle nuts reverse threaded pipe. Even the axle was easy to push in. Another FP5241 Creation.

I made a slot and then split it with a chizel until i could unwrap it from around the threads.
The drivers side i couldnt even get with 3/4 drive without busting an extension or socket. I think she bit the tip of his willy off. Lol damn she beat him so bad he looks like adam corrola now lol! Really really stuck rotors, and super stuck axle. I broke 2 breaker bars with a 4 foot pipe. The passenger side was easy to get off. Topaz, sounds like your rear bearings and axle nuts have been quite the hassle. Maybe it is just called an axle nut. The Porsche carrera GT axle nut on the right side is reverse threaded, I don't think E39 is. Isnt that what the nut in the rear axle is called? You just don't realize it yet. Topic is a moot point.
I ended up cutting it off with a dremel. The rear axle / bearing nut is the same part number for both left and right, and TIS doesn't make any distinction, either. Also are they a normal thread or reverse?
