This morning, after cleaning up all the "gunk", I reassembled the heater control valve & started the car. You will need a new transformer either way. Cause it starting to get cold and I need that blower motor to work ASAP. It is a low gauge red wire and black wire. To check the batteries in the thermostat, you will need to remove it from the wall.
