I'd read most of this collection before, likely out of order, so I was surprised to find myself so invested in The Golden Age. I would consider this Vol 7 of Locke & Key. While the big reveal of the story feels a little much, everything else works well - Mary serves as an excellent protagonist, and the way she moves through the Sandman world while using the Lock & Key tools is excellent.
