What is the "soul cake" being talked of? The characters are all fascinating especially Meroe the witch and Daniel, Corinna's lover. One thing about these mysteries, is that while you may have your suspicions, you aren't given the same information that Corinna has, so it's not until she orchestrates the big reveal, that you have all the missing clues. I want to live in Insula (Corinna's apartment building) with all her varied, charming and eccentric neighbours.
