I downloaded the app (it was an ad for Readict) and read Not Rejected Just Unwanted immediately. The Lost Challenges: 'I Wanna Be a Rock Star' Challenge. The story is YA/NA and author draws you in deeper and deeper with each scene... with the feeling of wanting to know more. It seemed rush and not well developed.
But I think that's just how the app works. I don't typically pay attention to adds, but it pop-up when I played a game and the title intrigued me. Invite Hayboo2017 to Goodreads. For this being an unknown author on a random app this was an amazing story and I devoured it. So I read this on a free app I'm trying out, and I really wanted to like it. I think my favorite part was when a character named Jason walked into the room, delivered a massive plot twist, and then turned around and walked away, never to be seen again. Her motivation is to feel wanted but I don't feel like we really see that. Pretty much pushed into being Luna no really desicion or thinking went into that choice. Which of course, is devastating considering your freaking soulmate is telling you they dont want to be with you. Soon to be beta Elijah Woods. The Story: A quick story of love between mates and hard lessons between friends. I hope Haylee Logue continues writing because it was surprisingly entertaining and she has me hooked as a reader. It was a cute, very short story, about a woman who is 'unwanted' by her mate. When I actually think about the timeline of the story, all the drama happened in the span of a week and the author couldn't really keep it straight. I wanted to hear more and Allier the character development to grow.
The main character's name is Raine who is somewhat of a nobody. I wish there was a way to just purchase the book outright because it's definitely one I would have added to my collection. It didn't help that the story was hella short. It was a cute little read, but nothing I would want to spend money on. The author's iteration could use some work too, didn't flow smoothly. I would prefer to pay for a book and be done with having to deal with ads. I know nothing of this author or how it was published so if this was some high school student that published an assignment-then way to go, seriously this was a great first attempted. But the romance was halfway decent, the conflict was clear-cut and followed through, and there were times I really genuinely enjoyed the story.

I feel this author has a bright future ahead of them in this genre of writing and just needs someone to help guide their way a bit to flesh out their short story idea and help them flesh it out to turn it into a multi book series. There were a few words misspelled but I still got involved in the story. I may have even skipped a chapter. She provided this link to read the book for free. I found my own rabbit hole in this book. I think I would have enjoyed more depth and detailed, but hey, get what you get and dont throw a fit. The author had some notes about her personal life after some chapters which I didn't really need to see. Maybe there will also be some 'oh wow I love her but she was supposed to be my best friend's Mate' and also some 'Oh I'm really attracted to this guy. IMO it needs a make over completely. I gave it 3 stars because I initially liked the beginning of the book.
