Tina grew up in Ankeny and began dancing at a young age. After graduating in 2020 with a BA in English and a minor in Ballet, Lise performed administrative work for BYU's Department of Dance and currently works as a writer and editor. Some of her other credits include Broadway at Music Circus where she performed in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Alice), Singin' in the Rain (Ensemble), Newsies (Spot Conlon/Jojo), Gyspy (Amanda), and Ogunquit Playhouse in Mamma Mia! Ankeny Dance & Performing Arts Academy Owner/Director Sarah Ferree began teaching Advanced Dance and Star Dancer programs at Ankeny Dance in 2002 and became the director of all programs and academy owner after the 2006 dance season. Stephanie's past customer service and management skills are credited to working as a manager at a globally known specialty clothing store, office manager at a small advertising company, supervisory experience at a big box retail and a reservationist, ticket agent and ramp agent with the fourth largest commuter airline in the world. She also became a member of the Hamden High Dance Team for all four years becoming captain her Senior year. Her favorite style of dance is tap and can most likely be caught doing shuffles ball changes while grocery shopping. Katelyn says she chose her major course of study because she has always had a love for children and in helping them develop as they explore the world around them.
She also trained in ballet pedagogy and reformer Pilates while at BYU. Often defined by unique choreography, dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, lines, and extension. Kayla Bagshaw, originally from Centerville, Utah began her training at The Turning Place and Dance Impressions. Brittany is also the assistant drill coach at Viewmont High School.
