My Review: *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*. When I wasn't annoyed with Autumn's absurd behavior, I found the line breaks really distracting. It was definitely unexpected and just the way it was discussed was beautiful. Notes for now (for if I completely forget about this and don't make a more in depth review 🥴): I didn't like Autumn much, I didn't like her "quirky" (I hate that word so much) personality and the "Not like other girls" thing. There are so many tidbits and flashbacks that we are given in the inner monologue of Autumn that felt vital to the story. Yes, it was painful, but i really didn't like the open ending. Overall, I loved Autumn and Finny and felt deflated not sad by the end of the book. I love Autumn and Finny's characters.
Only in the last 5-10% or so did stuff actually happen. There was just no way the story would go there. I was warned that this book was going to break my heart and it truly lived up to that warning but if I could go back and have my heart broken by this book for the first time again, I'd do it with zero hesitation. I would rate the majority of the book as a 4 star read. What's more, she decides to do it again until she succeeds. I loved her narrative throughout the story because it felt so true.
