Accepting the unexplainable in tvN's Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter. For a webcomic-adapted drama, this showed more than I expected from a common folktale. I feel like this drama had so much potential to become a well rounded drama if they would have put in a little more effort into story. But I can think of reasons why both men would be doing the things they're doing and still not be the husband. Moon Chae Won did great acting as an old fairy considering her age gap from Go Doo Shim who played it amazingly with her. I did find the different plot twists interesting and fun and honestly the character of Baek Jin-Sang was kinda fun and how he kept dying and Roo-Da trying to help him even though he didn't understand what was happening was pretty entertaining. Of course, Yi-hyun's enemy, Professor Park, is also there. The deaths in this drama felt just shocking like I hoped they could come back to life all the time! Of course, the ending scene is what's puzzling.

For example, how Jeom Soon, the tiger/cat, can transform into a girl, how Mama fairy can sometimes be seen as a young lady instead of a old lady, how Mama fairy can go into dreams and Mama fairy's flower blooming power. I thought it did a great job of portraying struggles that other people may have had a hard time putting to words of how they feel when every one arounds them is telling them they are crazy. If anything, even Kim Geum's mother was a better side character, despite having lesser screen time.
His students take notice of his grumbling behavior. What bothered me at the ending was it was a cop out, Seul-Bi "decides" she has to work on herself which is fine but that would be the most important message of the drama and they don't really show us how miraculously she is supposed to love herself when the whole outside world is treating her like trash. Still very drunk, Yi-hyun slowly tips over and falls asleep on the bench.
So I guess I wanted to keep watching to see if the drama would be able to redeem themselves and I found that they did not. I also found it interesting that there is no love lines, it feels refreshing and at the back of my mind I wanted to start coupling the characters out of habit but I am glad that they didn't try to do that, because that was not what the drama is about! While everyone might be gone, their cell phones aren't and the bill for the team dinner certainly isn't either. Anyway, knowing dramas as I do, there's no telling who the husband is or whether that's even who Ok-nam will fall in love with in the present time, so for now I'm just in "wait and see" mode.

Dr. Lee stops at the coffee kiosk, where Ok-nam sends a second coffee for her to give to Yi-hyun, surprising her by knowing that she's about to see him. Also at the beginning you will probably hate Baek Jin-Sang's voice it is enough to make you want to stop watching the drama, but as he mellows out his voice also does the same.
Ironically, it was the romance which killed the show for many. The plot of the drama is Lee Roo-Da (Baek Jin-Hee) works under Baek Jin Sang (Kang Ji-Hwan) the manager of the advertising department. Enjoyed the fantasy element in the drama! Ok-nam continues to share more information about immortals: they serve deities in nature and connect deities with the human world. Yi-hyun oversleeps the next morning, and he makes it to his classroom with seconds to spare. Had fun watching the people's expressions after they drink the coffee and some types of coffee have special effects.
