The single biggest problem with communication is the illusion that it has taken place. Not to beat a dead horse, but you don't need to spend a ton on an aftermarket casting to get 10s N/A. AFR 227's would be one of my choices, get them ported by a reputable head porter and you will have enough head to run deep in to the tens if not faster. I'd recommend changing that for race engines, but it will be okay for street/strip engines.

If I had to guess I'd deck the heads to cut that chamber down unless I was trying to run pump gas. I'm not willing to sacrifice long term results for the comparison, especially since I'm picking up 99% of the tab. Which heads trick flow or afr. I built my 305 all for torque, and it works very well. If they are, then your pistons probably have valvepockets cut in them to match your TF heads.

CentralCoaster has fronted $10. 600-inch valve, and the port volume is 74cc. Roth's team had to test fit numerous sets of headers to ensure proper clearance in various applications. I am aiming for 300+ to the rear wheels and looking for all the torque I can squeeze out of the lil 302. I should have dyno numbers and track times by Sunday. They are differentiated by the bolt holes and a choice between 1.
Aluminum heads have many advantages, but they're still aluminum. It becomes a battle of flow vs compression so to speak. I'm looking for opinions on what kind of heads to get for my future 347 build. All the nalum heads we have now work pretty damn good, I'd let whatever I could find a deal on sway my opinion on which set to if you gotta buy it all new from the git go get a P51 as it looks like they have the best ability to make power when worked as compared to all the others. I have a bare 350 block sittling in my garage. Not to mention that the TFs are still a good bit cheaper. Don't worry about the scr, it is what it is and it doesn't matter so long as the dcr is good. The information is in on the TFS heads. If I was building a motor right now, I would definitley look into buying a set (a 10:1 406 comes to mind, topped with a set of those bad boys could make some serious power!! I've spent "a lot" of money over the last few months on my toy including $ 2500 to one of the manufacturers in this test.... but, I'll still throw a fifty or something into the hat if need be. I think despite the compression issues, it is still an interesting test.....
