It was she who lived according to Kasuga, and not the other way around. This makes it very likely that I will simply forget to read the other parts, which is never a good sign at all! So let me just start this off by saying that I have had this ARC for so long now and I'm really not sure why it took me this long to pick it up. Shutting down conversation about the inspirations for Attack on Titan, its themes, and how fascist imagery is used, and whether it enhances the story to use it in the way that Isamaya does, means that gaining deeper meaning from the text just stops being possible. It's something that'll come up in later parts of Romantic Killer, that Anzu's headstrong directness isn't just there to serve as fuel against all those silly romantic contrivances, it's a key part of her personality that makes her a good, valuable friend. Out of curiosity, I turned my Wi-Fi off while I had a chapter open, and I could continue reading it. I love it when artists get creative with the basics of comics (like above with the newspaper style text overlay). She's is like some sorta inverse Catarina Claes, charming others in her circle by simply being understanding and empathetic, but avoiding relationships with them not because she's too dense to notice most of them, but because she simply does not want to. I liked the artwork in this one. Image are a great comany. So while the black bars can be distracting, the savings may be worth it for some fans, especially for new readers who want a way to test out a series before investing money into it. I recommend this one, for sure.
