I don't think this needed to be a werewolf story, the wolf bit had very little involvement that it could have easily been replaced with normal humans with soulmates. The snippet on Facebook was well done, it was enough that I searched it out to read more. I will no longer support rubbish that encourages up and coming writers to fall into their trap. It's definitely a wattpad story, that's very true. It was a quick read, and an enjoyable one. I would have like to see more of her life prior to the drama. The story was alright. The book has so much potential and a good concept, just needs to be flushed out. I assume that the following chapters are an angst driven back and forth of will they won't they and 'Oh my god! Overall, I don't think is a stimulating read, just something for fun where a person doesn't have to think about anything for like an hour or two. I think that if this writer read a little more Sarah J Maas and a little less Stephanie Meyer it would help. Not rejected just unwanted haylee logue paperback. The story itself pulls you in, the characters. THe writing was easy and fast paced. This book came up with the beginning of the story as an advertisement in a game I was playing on my phone. I was curious if I should possibly submit my debut novel from my first series. The Lost Challenges: 'I Wanna Be a Rock Star' Challenge. Basically, because you are getting installments of a novel on their free app, otherwise you have to pay a daily rate for the premium app to real full books I decided against submitting but was happy to find this story. Too many ads and interruptions it spoiled the experience. I wish the author had taken the time to write more of Raine's character, instead of starting the story right out the bat with "Oh I found my mate! " Yes, it needs a basic round of editing, but the core of the story is fantastic. Luckily for me I stumbled upon Alethia's review. I have been thinking about the main characters, Johnathon and Raine all day; that is how engaging the story was that these characters stayed with me long after I finished reading. 80 avg rating — 49 ratings. I may have even skipped a chapter. Mostly by having one or two chapters be a day, most of it by having the characters nap or in recovery; and by saying Raine is a Christmas baby but then Christmas Eve happens 3 weeks later. I was on a literary page on Facebook, and the page had an article about Readict and their app for readers. Unfortunately, everything feels rushed and doesn't flow. Froze my phone a few times too. I liked the alternating POVs, and I definitely liked each character and how the story played out. If the ending would have been stronger it would have been 5/5 stars from me. I went to the reviews here on Goodreads to see if reading them would help me make a decision as to whether or not I wanted to download the app. Which of course, is devastating considering your freaking soulmate is telling you they dont want to be with you. He sounds like the perfect mate, right? The writing is a little awkward, it feels very juvenile, and a lot of it functions like a bad fanfiction. Get help and learn more about the design. I feel this author has a bright future ahead of them in this genre of writing and just needs someone to help guide their way a bit to flesh out their short story idea and help them flesh it out to turn it into a multi book series. There's more I can say but I don't want to spoil and/or be overly negative about is. It wason wattpad so I breezed through it. The character of Rose is of a shallow mean girl, but we don't get to see her that often and she doesn't come off as malicious as she should be. It just need a thorough polish of the grammar/language, more dialogue with less narration, and more scenes to fill in the gaps.
