I think I'll make up some of that ATF-Acetone (50-50) mix in a spray bottle and just hit the nuts every few days with it. Back in the early years of the auto industry, the motor oils did not have any additives, just base oil. Marvel mystery oil is an additive, for gas or oil. Acetone has a high absobtion rate that makes it penetrate like a terror.

Ed's Red is a 4 part mixture of Dexron II transmission fluid (which gives it the "red" color), K1 Kerosine (like camping stove Kerosine), Aliphatic Mineral Spirits, and Acetone.
