I think the answer to the connection problem is this: The network detection of a wifi 6 network (that's a thing), is not feasible by MyQ. You should be able to open this port manually. I already spoke with NG support. Tap the network that begins with MyQ-XXX. It worked great with the most recent Airport Extreme tower that Apple made, so I am surprised it won't connect with eero. This means that the signal is not powerful enough to connect between the router and garage door. If I had it to do all over again knowing what I know now, I would've gone ahead and splurged on the MyQ Home Bridge for $90 at Amazon. I don't have a problem getting a cheap one for this purpose if I have to but not sure what would be the best way to go.
