Kjol were a Swiss based jazz rock quartet, lead by renowned saxophonist Brigeen Doran, and her brother Dave on drums. Only saxophonist Bill McPhearson seems to be largely absent from the entire album (not always a bad thing when it comes to the instrument... Pop has been at its most interesting in years as of late—and that's thanks in part to hyperpop. The debut is definitely my favorite, but You'll Never Come Back is fantastic as well. A very interesting find, though falling just short of mandatory listen/classic status.

I approached few releases recently, where people choose styles as "Doom Metal" or "Grunge" lacking the right label, which looks ridiculous under post punk or post HC bands, who adopted slower and dirtier sound in order to sound like terrifying monsters:). Then came the fantastic Embryo's Reise, and their first forays into world fusion, with perhaps one last look back to an older style on Zack Gluck. But once the lengthy 'Resurrection Agents' gets going, the magic of Missus Beastly steps up with it, and the perception changes. The drums can be a bit over synthesized, and the compositions do not possess a ton of depth, but it's still far from throwaway background music. And 20 years past that, most of the 30+ some albums from the label are enshrined into the conscientiousness of anyone who claims hipster status. Amongst the usual rock instrumentation there's lots of violin, cello, electric piano and sax playing Eastern European and Asian influenced jazz rock. Many artists are trans, like Laura Les of 100 gecs, quinn, blackwinterwells, Alice Gas, d0llywood1, and the late SOPHIE. Repeat the words that you said.

Worth noting the high quality sound from the original tapes. I appreciate they are definable sub-styles, but they are not distinct enough to warrant inclusion at the moment. Roman Bunka once again lights it up with his Eastern tinged psychedelic guitar, whereas Charlie Mariano burns on the saxophone and nagasuram, and Dieter Miekautsch gives us a splendid performance on the Fender Rhodes. The Beatles become a worldwide phenomenon and pretty much own the Billboard Top 10 for years. There are two standout leads here: Rainier Hansen on sax and flute - and steady member Klaus Holst on guitar. The vocals are gruff in that bluesy way, more akin to what you would hear in the early 1970s from similar genre bands operating in Germany and England. There are many non-binary artists—Kid Trash, Siouxxie, underscores, angelus, dltzk, Fraxiom, Dorian Electra—and I think PC Music, Shygirl, That Kid, and Sega Bodega have a lot of [queer] fans, which represents a large faction of listeners. " I just noticed today on Garáž's web site that they refer to themselves as being inspired by pub rock bands --> In other words: "Pub Rock" would be a worthy addition. This was later accompanied by "rapping" (a rhythmic style of chanting).
