Did not venture inside the truck stop/restaurant. Hike the dunes using hiking boots or slide down them using a sand board. I'm fully self-contained so didn't use the restrooms. My spot was very close to level. They have tons of space here so that wasn't an issue. Even a dog doesn't shit where it eats and sleeps. I will definitely stay here again on my way back in the other direction. Free wifi is a plus, as is the easy access to the freeway. They have a huge dirt lot and it's free, which is great. This park has a large number of amazing sand dunes, including the largest single-structure sand dune in North America. For us, the engines and generators running were just white noise.
