I don't think that the author is a panphobic person, I just think that better descriptions and analogies could have been used to give pan people more respect. It did get rather repetitive. The author's passion and activism really shines through. Whilst Bi The Way could have been informative and helpful for many it became overly focused on the author's personal experience and bias towards how they have felt themselves treated. This book was interesting to read, but I didn't really enjoy it because it insinuated that pansexuality was formed out of biphobia and that all pan people are bi, so that makes it feel really pan phobic., but it did give a lot of information about bisexuality, so that raised it up a star. And some points lacked the proper discussion they needed. Is there any stigma that goes along with being bisexual? I want to feel something when I'm reading, and not necessarily positive emotions, but something that draws my empathy and connects me. Lots of language seeming to bash lesbians & pansexuals.
