Anyway, the finale was shown yesterday and I got to see it today. I love the lead actress. They took great writing and more than brought these characters to life. Young's fiancé, Myung Ho, is suspicious of Oh Soo and runs a DNA test to prove that he is not Young's actual brother. So yes, I love the ending! Yet, there's one particular standout role, back in the 2014 show, That Winter, The Wind Blows. Though they lost their sight but their strong hearing sense enable them to see through people's hearts which is not something that normal people like us can do. But what that sequence did do though was blur the events of the previous 15 and a half episodes. I believe we'd have gotten the exact same ending of Soo and Young kissing in the woods without that final attempt at suspense. The anticipation of the pyramid of happiness built up by Oh Soo's charade come crashing down. It was a rather strange story as she reciprocates his feelings later—but it was one of her best roles. The series' final few episodes, especially the last two, were far from perfect and yet were still convincingly affecting. I felt like this was a thread that unraveled halfway through and the writer couldn't tie back in. I just couldn't wait what happens next to the two characters so 16 episodes was a swift! Did Moo Chul become a thug because of poverty? Here it is now though 🙂 I promise it is SUPER loaded with pictures!! It felt like they fell a couple of minutes short of a full hour's worth of material so they threw in that completely contrived final "twist. "
F. Who was the woman who came looking for information on Oh Soo from the same orphanages Wang was investigating? He's an ass for using a blind woman to get money to pay off a debt (he didn't even rack up). We seldom see shows that have main actress as a blind lady. Song deserves more of such layered and biting roles, rather than just being used as a device to further a man's story. As a result, even a scene that's meant to be impactful, such as when she sees a bloodied Si-jin in front of her, falls rather flat despite her hysteria. Though I will admit, trying to figure out whether or not Young could see was an amusing exercise after what should've been a horribly emotional moment (Jin Sung breaking down after stabbing Soo). Likes: I didn't have high expectations but after a few episodes, I got hooked!
This is my first time seeing Jo In Sung acting. I was ready for a very sad ending but still hoped for a happy one. In that, you didn't care what Soo and Young had just gone through. This is my first Jo In Sung drama, and friends, if you love me and you see hot guys like him, and I hem and haw about watching their work, please drag me to the nearest screen, tie me up and force me to watch.
Overcome by his need for money, he tries schooling her, insisting that she behave. I would have liked to see her outraged at Oh Soo for his deception for more than a day, but love (and Young) is blind, and she may have been in the IDGAF phase when she discovered Soo's trickery. I hear the violin strains in 'Blind Love', I picture Soo's face when Young refuses to let him sleep with her any longer and he begs to be next to her, or Soo running to Young after realizing that she planned on dying that night, and I get the feels all over again.
