It is taught that we are inherently sinful and need Jesus to make up for our sinful ways. Saying that we have to be reminded to exercise self-love only makes us worshipers of ourselves. We are told that the path to achieving self-love is to do what makes us feel good. In 2020, so many people are looking to self for the answers, but they will come woefully short of finding it there.
