The real gem among the set comes with the third track, 'The Celestials. ' Would that this record actually had some of the thick-caked doom of the Sabbath records Corgan built his tower out of. It's possibly the heaviest track on the album and the melody can get lost in the distortion at times. Now, Corgan has surrounded himself with a new crew, one presumably more excited to be sporting the team jersey. Musically this may be the Pumpkins finest album, although I believe the lyrics may be lacking.
