I loved that it had been repurposed to a B&B but kept some nice touches from the past like real chalkboards, bells, Dick & Jane art. We just didn't feel at all welcome and felt like we were an inconvience. We locked our bikes at the bottom of the hill (about ½ mile uphill climb, but worth it for the views over the bluff down to the Missouri River). Called the Inn and they had room for me, when I got there they even upgraded my room! If not, book a stay at Hobo Hill House in Jefferson City. They were very gracious and accomodating, the room was really beautiful, and the full hot breakfast was super delicious. I was allowed to return after my race (post check out) and shower before I started the drive home which was wonderful & appreciated! We discovered a flat tire when it was time to leave and the owner fixed our flat without complaint, and refused to take any payment.
