From where I've looked I'm getting 60-80 inch-lbs. If you've got a power brake booster or a/c along with that big-block, valve cover studs might not be possible. With the spark plug gaskets hardware in the valley barely snug, it's time to the work around the outer edges of the cover. I haven't had it leak yet. Do not snug the two down on the t-belt end yet.
